About Us
Rooted in resilience. Blooming with love.
Hi, I'm Makayla, the founder of Hope in Bloom, and like many of you, I've walked a road shaped by chronic illness. My journey began when I was just 19, facing life-altering symptoms that would lead to a diagnosis before my 21st birthday. Those early years were about surviving, fighting, learning, and healing. But somewhere along the way, I realized I had forgotten something just as essential: loving myself.
Living with a chronic condition can feel all-consuming, like it becomes your entire identity. I know firsthand what it's like to feel more like a diagnosis than a whole person. And I also know that struggle isn't limited to people with illness. There are caregivers, busy professionals, tired students, and overwhelmed parents who simply do their best to get through the day and forget to care for themselves.
That's why I created Hope in Bloom β a curated self-care experience made for anyone who needs a little moment to breathe. Our self-care boxes are handpicked with intention to feel like a cozy solo date: comforting, immersive, and full of joy. Each product is chosen to nurture your emotional, physical, and spiritual self, whether you're navigating illness, caregiving, or just life itself.
Here, self-care isn't selfish. It's a quiet act of rebellion. It's a way to honor your worth and remind yourself: I am deserving of softness, comfort, and joy.
What makes us different?
Each Hope in Bloom box is more than just products β it's an experience. From soothing tea blends to calming scents, handpicked grounding resources, these boxes invite you to slow down and reconnect with you.
